Converse SP20 – Twisted Classics

Scope: Talent Styling
Project Objective: Converse SP20 “Twisted Classics” campaign centred around reworking iconic Converse silhouettes through an experimental and youth-driven visual lens, including the launch of the Run Star Hike and CPX70 models. The wider campaign explored themes of individuality, self-expression and subcultural style through a bold, disruptive creative direction.
Coco worked closely as Lava La Rue’s personal stylist and image consultant throughout the project, helping shape a visual identity that felt authentic to both the artist and the wider Converse narrative. Whereby, the styling direction pushed into more experimental territory through exaggerated proportions, layered silhouettes and expressive colour relationships.
Given significant creative freedom across the campaign, the project became an opportunity to push styling and visual storytelling boundaries on a larger scale. The final creative extended across retail and OOH environments, including BOXPARK takeover placements and in-store POS across various retail locations within EMEA, reinforcing the campaign’s bold, youth-led visual identity across both cultural and retail spaces.
